Recycled Living is partnering with WeShine to construct 13 custom porch covers for the newly installed sleeping pods at the Parkrose Micro-Village. While the new pods offer crucial shelter, their flat-fronted design leaves residents exposed to Portland’s rain and heat. We are building 3' x 8' covered porches for every pod to provide essential shade, weather protection, privacy, and livability.

Project Scope & Specs

● Location: WeShine Parkrose Village (Portland, OR)

● Build Target: 13 Pod Porch Covers (3' deep x 8' wide structural covers)

● Impact: Provides 13 previously unhoused Portlanders with weather protection, personal outdoor space, and enhanced privacy.
